Activities Coordinator - Immediate start in Whetstone - N20

Ventry Care is recruiting an Activities Coordinator to our care home in Whetstone. We care for older persons, and older persons living with dementia.

The position will be from 10:00 to 15:00 or 16:00 Monday to Friday (approx 20 to 30 hours) and so may suit a person looking to fit employment around family life.

The Role

Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will:

  • Assist in organising and participating in key events held throughout the year; the summer fete, seasonal celebrations, parties, charity events and so on.
  • Plan and deliver a varied activities programme, inside and outside the care home, from organised hobbies to group events, all of which will promote independence, choice and dignity for our residents.
  • Motivate and inspire our residents, getting to know them as individuals, their interests, their life stories, and their families.
  • Support resident and relative home meetings and participation forums.
  • Develop a resident newsletter at least every three months.
  • Creatively gain feedback from residents, their families and the staff team to ensure that the activities offered are relevant and meet the residents' needs and choices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
