Job Description
Location: 50 Bush Road
Could you imagine delivering an enriching activities programme for the elderly in the heart of your community?
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Activities Therapist to organise and deliver a programme of activities which will enrich the lives of our residents in Brooklands Care Home, Antrim.
Salary – £14.10 per hour

The Role
- Coordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the year
- Activities should be person-centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across a broad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.
- Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.
- Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage.
- Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents.

About The Role
What we need:
- We need someone who will be able to provide social activities to our residents in either a group situation or on a one to one basis. Previous experience of delivering activities within a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
