Activity Coordinator – Church Farm Care Home
Location: Church Farm Lane, East Wittering, Chichester, PO20 8PT Pay: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 10am – 4pm (36-hour contract)

The Role – The Chief Fun Officer
As an Activity Coordinator at Church Farm Care Home, you’ll be the spark behind lively, joyful moments for our residents. You will:
- Create tailored, engaging activities across arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, pub quizzes, and more
- Work closely with residents, families, and care teams to develop plans that suit individual interests and needs
- Bring people together for therapeutic and social experiences—from gentle exercise to garden parties
- Support wellbeing by organising activities like meditation and flexibility classes
- Plan and run morning/afternoon activities
- Coordinate birthday surprises and special events for residents
Responsibilities
- Design and implement an activity planner aligned with a set budget
- Organise days out and local events (e.g., workshops, performances)
- Conduct one-to-one sessions, such as reminiscence Therapy or casual chats
- Support the home’s social media with occasional updates and promotions
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance resident experiences

Key Skill Sets & Qualifications
You’ll need a mix of spontaneity and planning to excel in this role. Required skills include:

Note: This role is not at or above RQF Level 3 and therefore is ineligible for sponsorship under the UK’s Points-Based Immigration System.
