Actuarial Transformation Consultant
12-month FTC
Location: Hybrid - 3 days on site in Horsham, London, Manchester, Liverpool or Glasgow
Salary: 70k
VIQU has partnered with a major financial organisation seeking an Actuarial Transformation Consultant to support a significant Finance & Actuarial Transformation programme within its Corporate Actuarial function. The Actuarial Transformation Consultant will work across actuarial, finance and project teams to assess and implement changes to data, processes and systems. The role would suit an actuarial professional who combines technical understanding with strong process-change, testing and stakeholder-management capability.
Key Requirements of the Actuarial Transformation Consultant
- Deliver change activity across Corporate Actuarial
- Support definition of actuarial requirements
- Assess changes to actuarial data, processes and systems
- Develop and implement agreed process and system changes
- Work with Finance SMEs, actuarial specialists and project teams
- Test new processes and systems ahead of implementation
- Complete actuarial analysis within the transformation programme
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress
- Support continuous improvement against agreed project priorities

Key Requirements of the Actuarial Transformation Consultant
- Appropriate actuarial training, qualification and experience
- Good understanding of finance and actuarial processes
- Strong understanding of actuarial systems and software
- Experience supporting changes to data, processes or systems
- Practical testing and implementation capability
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Continuous-improvement mindset
- Consultant-level applicants should be comfortable operating with greater independence and supporting more junior Analysts
