Shape a more secure future for insurers and pension savers

Programme Overview

On the Actuarial Graduate Programme, you'll help shape the future with confidence by helping insurers and pension providers build a more secure future. You'll work in high-performing teams, using data, technology and analytical thinking to solve complex challenges, manage risk and support better decision-making. As a Shaper of the future, you'll develop actuarial and consulting expertise while creating meaningful impact for clients and building trust and confidence across the industry.

The programme is two years, however, we’ll provide continued support and training to help graduates to qualify as actuaries, which typically takes three-five years in total.

Core Skills For Success

  • Analytical thinking and judgement – using data, modelling and professional judgement to assess risk and deliver insights that help clients make confident decisions for the future.
  • Curiosity and motivation – continuously building technical, digital and professional skills to challenge thinking, embrace new ideas and shape innovative solutions.
  • Collaboration, communication and relationship building – working across teams and disciplines to turn complex analysis into clear, meaningful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
  • Digital and AI fluency – using technology, data and innovative tools to uncover insights, improve processes and deliver greater impact.
  • Professionalism, integrity and accountability – taking ownership, acting with care and applying sound judgement to build trust and confidence in every outcome.
  • Adaptability and resilience – embracing change, learning quickly and responding confidently to new challenges in a fast-moving industry.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
