We’re focussed on our purpose - helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. So, if you’re looking to kick start your career and can bring us the skills we’re looking for, then we can help you build your career and you can help us make health happen.

Gain a deep and valuable insight into the actuarial world after your second year at university and give a bright start to your future career with our 12-month undergraduate industrial placement.

Whether you know what you want to do in the future or are still working that out, we believe it’s really important to try it for yourself. That’s why over the course of the placement, you’ll complete a rotation in one of our actuarial functions, which may include:

  • Pricing

No two days are the same during the 12-month placement. You’ll face a well-balanced mix of challenges, mutual support, and accelerated skills development through our development programme. You’ll also shadow senior colleagues to gain valuable insight and enhance your network.

At the end of a successful placement, there is the potential to be fast-tracked for a place on our graduate scheme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
