You'll be involved in:
- Solvency UK valuations and reporting
- Reinsurance analysis and reporting
- Experience analysis and assumption setting
- Supporting the determination of asset returns passed to policyholders
- Analysing and explaining movements in actuarial results
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and stakeholder communications
- Supporting Customer Services in responding to complex questions from our policyholders
- Supporting ad-hoc business projects
As your experience grows and you progress through your actuarial qualifications, you'll have opportunities to contribute across the wider business, including investment, operations, customer services and product development.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Analytical, curious and naturally solutions-focused
- Comfortable working with data and interpreting information
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Collaborative, adaptable and eager to learn

Essential Requirements
- A new graduate, or someone with a little experience of working in an actuarial related role in the life insurance sector
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Physics, Engineering or similar)
- Strong mathematical and analytical ability
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Some experience of coding, statistical software or financial modelling (such as SQL or Python)
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career as a qualified actuary
