Are you a qualified Actuary looking to apply your technical expertise in one of the most exciting and rapidly growing areas of the pensions and insurance market?
We're partnering with a highly respected and ambitious financial services organisation that is investing heavily in its Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) business and expanding its specialist actuarial team. This presents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced actuary to play a key role in the pricing, execution and delivery of high-profile pension risk transfer transactions.
Working within a collaborative and growing team, you'll gain exposure to complex and commercially significant transactions while helping to secure better retirement outcomes for pension scheme members across the UK.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and transaction leads to support the pricing and execution of BPA transactions, helping to deliver competitive and commercially robust solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading actuarial analysis and pricing activities on BPA transactions
- Reviewing and validating pension cashflow modelling outputs
- Assessing liabilities and supporting pricing decisions
- Collaborating with stakeholders across investments, capital management and other specialist functions
- Supporting transaction execution from opportunity through to completion
- Coaching and mentoring junior actuarial colleagues
- Contributing to the ongoing development of actuarial models, processes and methodologies
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent)
- Strong experience within pensions, life insurance or pension risk transfer environments
- Experience supporting pricing-related work and actuarial analysis
- Strong Defined Benefit (DB) pensions knowledge
- Experience reviewing and working with actuarial models and cashflow projections
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Solvency II would be advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
