Oliver James are partnered with a specialist UK insurer who are looking for a Life or Pensions Qualified Actuary to join their Business Partnering team.
Location: Central London x 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £75,000 - £100,000 + generous bonus - please note that salary will depend on experience and PQE.
As an Investment Business Partnering Actuary, you will be supporting the management of the Matching Adjustment portfolio, working closely with the Finance Investment and Risk teams whilst assessing asset eligibility. You will provide an actuarial opinion alongside the technical work. The business is keen to embrace technology and automation, and the role offers plenty of opportunity for growth and learning.

We are looking for someone who can go to technical depth and have attention to detail. Whilst you don't need to be a Matching Adjustment expert, experience in this area is very beneficial.
Our client is happy to consider applications from newly qualified actuaries, through to multiple years of post-qualified experience. Responsibilities will be tailored to reflect your level of experience.
The ideal candidate:

- Qualified Actuary from a Life or Pensions background. Newly qualified or Qualified are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of UK Solvency, ideally Matching Adjustments
- Good knowledge of Actuarial modelling and analysis.
- Strong communication skills
