Capital & Risk Actuary | London | £65k-£75k

Oliver James are currently partnered with a leading life insurer who are looking to hire a nearly/newly qualified Actuary into their Actuarial team.

You'll analyse and report on demographic and economic trends, using your actuarial judgement to support assumptions and capital modelling. You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in capital projects and wider business initiatives, as well as supporting and coaching actuarial students.

What we're looking for:

  • Nearly or newly qualified Actuary
  • Solid technical knowledge
  • Solvency II/Solvency UK experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Someone enthusiastic about working with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in developing their technical and commercial skill set
