Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will be doing, in roles we place

  • Owning senior client relationships, and being the person a client trusts with the account's strategy, not just its delivery.
  • Leading account teams, developing junior colleagues, and making sure work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Shaping campaign strategy and advising clients on complex or sensitive issues, including reputational risk.
  • Contributing to new business: pitches, proposals, and growing existing accounts.
  • Working closely with agency leadership on account profitability, resourcing, and client retention.

What clients are looking for

  • Substantial experience in a PR, public affairs, or communications agency, typically already operating at senior manager or director level.
  • A track record of managing senior client relationships and being trusted with strategic advice, not just execution.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, and the ability to develop a team.
  • New business experience, and a genuine interest in growing accounts and the agency.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and the judgement to advise a client's leadership team directly.
