What you will be doing, in roles we place
- Owning senior client relationships, and being the person a client trusts with the account's strategy, not just its delivery.
- Leading account teams, developing junior colleagues, and making sure work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
- Shaping campaign strategy and advising clients on complex or sensitive issues, including reputational risk.
- Contributing to new business: pitches, proposals, and growing existing accounts.
- Working closely with agency leadership on account profitability, resourcing, and client retention.
What clients are looking for
- Substantial experience in a PR, public affairs, or communications agency, typically already operating at senior manager or director level.
- A track record of managing senior client relationships and being trusted with strategic advice, not just execution.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, and the ability to develop a team.
- New business experience, and a genuine interest in growing accounts and the agency.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the judgement to advise a client's leadership team directly.
