Banksman Slingers - Peterhead
ASCO Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting for Banksman Slingers (OPITO Stage 1-4) to support our quayside operations in Peterhead on an ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day quayside operations, including cargo handling and vessel loading/unloading, in line with operating procedures and HSSEQ standards.
- Safely load and offload CCUs from vehicles using forklift equipment where required.
- Assist with the safe berthing of vessels across the Peterhead quayside.
- Coordinate and control the safe and efficient loading and offloading of vessels.
- Support crane lifting operations and the movement of cargo to ensure vessels are turned around efficiently and in line with operational plans.
- Liaise with the Quayside Supervisor and promptly communicate any issues, delays, or operational concerns.

- OPITO Banksman & Slinger - Stage 1-4
- Previous experience in a quayside, marine, offshore, or cargo-handling environment.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and operational standards.
- Ability to work flexibly on an ad hoc basis.
