About The Role
We're looking for an Ad Operations Manager to set up and run dynamic podcast inventory at Platform Media.
Right now we sell baked-in host reads across audio and video. As an important next phase of our growth, we're bringing dynamic advertising in-house, which means building the ad ops function that sits underneath it.
This role will focus on owning how dynamic inventory is forecast, booked, trafficked, delivered, reported and reconciled across a portfolio that includes some of the UK's biggest podcast talent. The role sits at the heart of the commercial team, making sure that what we sell can actually be delivered, accurately, efficiently and on time.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in ad operations and wants to contribute to strategy, and the overall commercial growth of Platform Media.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
