Ad Sales Executive
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Ad Sales team as an Ad Sales Executive, supporting the commercial operations of the business across the UK, International and Global markets. The role will have responsibility for maintaining accurate revenue and performance reporting, supporting forecasting and business planning, coordinating sponsorship and partnership activity, and producing clear commercial materials for internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and confident working with numbers and Excel. They will be able to look beyond the data, identify what the numbers are showing, and proactively highlight risks, opportunities and areas that require further investigation. The role requires someone who can work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and take ownership of their work while collaborating effectively with colleagues and partners.
This is a 13 month fixed-term maternity cover position. The role will be hybrid based in the London office, working on exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate commercial trackers across UK, International and Global markets, ensuring data is complete, up to date and delivered to agreed deadlines.
- Prepare regular reporting, including revenue, conversion, pricing and performance analysis, and support month-end, forecasting and budget processes.
- Review and interpret commercial data, highlighting material variances, risks, opportunities and trends for further investigation and decision-making.
- Support the preparation and coordination of monthly strategy meetings, business reviews and leadership updates by managing timelines, gathering input and producing clear presentation materials.
- Support sponsorship and partnership campaigns from activation through to post-campaign reporting, coordinating deliverables, monitoring media plans and broadcast schedules, and tracking performance against agreed requirements.
- Support in the preparation of sales presentations, partnership proposals and other commercial materials for pitches and client or agency meetings.
- Work with Sales, Finance, Research, clients, agencies, local media sales houses and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate information, effective communication and timely delivery of commercial activity.

Essential Skills / Knowledge
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear commercial insight.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with revenue, performance and financial information.
- Confident Excel skills and the ability to build, maintain and quality-check trackers and reports.
- A basic understanding of business financials, including revenue, forecasting, variances and performance against targets.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership, ask questions, follow up on outstanding actions and identify issues early.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to different stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and building positive working relationships.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in television, media, advertising, partnerships or a related commercial environment.
- Experience with commercial, audience or market data tools such as TechEdge or GWI.
- Experience supporting advertising campaigns, sponsorships, media planning or sales operations.
