The Role
The assignment will begin in Gothenburg, Sweden, where the team will collect development vehicles before driving them to the UK and carrying out an extensive real-world validation programme. Testing will take place across motorways, country roads, urban environments, night routes, narrow city streets and multi-storey car parks to assess vehicle and ADAS performance in genuine customer driving conditions.
The team will consist of a Lead Engineer responsible for route planning, project coordination, reporting and communication with the wider engineering team, alongside three additional engineers supporting validation, data logging, issue investigation and test execution activities.

Responsibilities
- Validate ADAS functionality during real-world driving.
- Test camera, radar and sensor-based systems.
- Assess ACC, parking functions, blind spot monitoring and other ADAS features.
- Capture and analyse vehicle data logs.
- Identify issues and document findings.
- Support investigation and re-validation of software updates and fixes.
- Complete planned test routes throughout the UK.
- Participate in day and occasional night-time testing activities.
Required Experience
- Previous vehicle testing or validation experience.
- Experience working with ADAS systems.
- Knowledge of camera, radar and sensor-based technologies.
- Experience using CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA or similar diagnostic/logging tools.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable spending extended periods driving and travelling.
- Full UK driving licence.

Contract Details
