Job Title
This is a critical, hands-on opportunity for a reliable and detail-focused Manufacturing Technician to join one of Europe’s fastest-growing defence engineering start-ups. The company has secured over £300 million in funding, has already grown to more than 250 employees, and operates from excellent, state-of-the-art facilities.

You will play an important role in operating industrial polymer 3D printing equipment and supporting both prototyping and production activities within a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment. As an Additive Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating industrial polymer 3D printing equipment to produce high-quality components.
- Preparing machines and materials, loading print files, starting and monitoring print jobs, and ensuring production runs safely and efficiently.
- Removing finished builds from the machines and carrying out a range of post-processing and finishing activities, including support removal, cleaning, sanding, trimming, and bead blasting.
- Performing basic visual inspections and dimensional checks using simple measuring equipment to ensure components meet the required standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or workshop environment.
- Basic understanding of additive manufacturing or 3D printing processes.
- Computer literate and comfortable using machine control software.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, procedures, and production plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Experience with polymer 3D printing or post-processing of plastic components is desirable.
This can be either a contract under IR35 or a permanent position.
