Are you an NMC-registered Specialist Nurse Prescriber with 5+ years’ NHS experience in assessing and diagnosing neurodiverse conditions? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

At Dr-Julian, we provide affordable, accessible mental health care via video, audio, and messaging. We are expanding into neurodiversity to reduce ADHD assessment wait times and improve lives.

Job Overview

Deliver highly specialised ADHD assessments, reports, diagnoses, treatment, and aftercare under the supervision of a GMC-registered Psychiatrist. Patients may be privately funded or NHS referrals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-hour online ADHD “Pre Screen Consultations”
  • Deliver online ADHD assessments to NHS Gold Standard
  • Complete assessment and diagnostic reports within 1 week
  • Provide ADHD treatment and aftercare, including follow-ups during titration
  • Under supervision, issue prescriptions, medication reviews, and repeats
  • Signpost to relevant health services
  • Provide consultative advice to healthcare professionals
  • Attend clinical supervision with Consultant Psychiatrist
  • Commit to a minimum of 5 hours/week

Aptitudes & Competencies:

  • Work with complex or distressing presentations

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Recognised NMC degree/diploma
  • NMC/HCPC registration
  • NMC-approved prescribing qualification
  • UKAAN-recognised ADHD training
  • DIVA-5 competency (mandatory)
  • Extensive ADHD assessment/treatment experience
  • Adult & Child Safeguarding Level 3
  • Experience with neurodiverse patients
  • Ability to advise patients and professionals
  • Strong report-writing skills
  • Online assessment/treatment experience
  • MDT working experience
  • 5+ years post-qualification
