Remote ADHD Assessor | Raiys Neurodiversity Service

Fully Remote (UK) | Contractor / Associate | £225 per completed assessment

Raiys is expanding our workforce of Remote ADHD Assessors, delivering safe, evidence-based ADHD assessments for children, young people and adults — grounded in NICE guidance and robust clinical governance.

You'll work with professional autonomy within your scope of competence, backed by structured supervision, MDT discussion and clinical leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Hold autonomous professional responsibility for ADHD diagnostic decision-making, with clinical supervision and escalation routes available
  • Undertake comprehensive ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidance, including differential diagnoses and co-occurring conditions
  • Make evidence-based, ethical, person-centred clinical decisions using shared decision-making
  • Formulate care and treatment recommendations collaboratively with the wider MDT
  • Complete risk and safeguarding assessments, escalating concerns per policy
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and diagnostic reports
  • Recommend further assessment, intervention or onward referral where indicated
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement
  • Take part in clinical supervision, MDT meetings, CPD and reflective practice

What You'll Need

  • Clinical qualification and registration as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic), Speech & Language Therapist, Paediatrician, or RMN/Learning Disability/Child & Adult Nurse
  • Current NMC or HCPC registration with no practice restrictions
  • Current DBS on the Update Service, covering Child and Adult Barring lists
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date knowledge of ADHD assessment and diagnostic practice
  • Minimum 1 year's experience undertaking ADHD assessments and diagnoses
  • Familiarity with validated tools such as DIVA-5, ASRS-V1.1, SNAP-IV, Young DIVA-5 and WFIRS
  • Confidence working autonomously and safely in a remote setting
  • Comfortable using digital clinical systems and online assessment tools
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation, mental health/neurodevelopmental frameworks, and professional accountability and consent

Nice to Have

  • Experience across multiple ADHD service pathways or commissioned contracts
  • Independent Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification
  • Experience in pathway development, training or quality improvement
