About the Role
As an Associate ADHD Nurse Prescriber, you’ll be responsible for supporting patients throughout their ADHD medication journey, including:
- Conducting comprehensive ADHD assessments and diagnosing ADHD where appropriate
- Completing medication reviews and providing holistic, patient-centred care
- Initiating, titrating and reviewing stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medications
- Managing your own caseload in line with clinical protocols and NICE guidelines
- Generating prescriptions and monitoring treatment effectiveness and safety
- Producing high-quality clinical reports and maintaining accurate documentation
- Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration
- Independent Non-Medical Prescriber qualification (V300)
- Experience assessing and treating individuals with ADHD
- Confidence initiating and managing ADHD medication
- Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills

Working Pattern
- Fully remote
- Minimum commitment of 2 full days per week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
- Additional weekend work may be available, subject to approval
- Remote clinics delivered via Microsoft Teams and telephone
Appointment Structure
- New patient medication reviews: 60 minutes
- Medication reviews: 45 minutes
- Follow-up medication reviews: 30 minutes
- Typically 8–9 titration appointments per day
Rate
£60 per hour
