Essential Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification in Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, or another registered healthcare profession.
- Current registration with the appropriate professional body (GMC, HCPC, NMC, or equivalent).
- Experience conducting Adult and/or CAMHS ADHD diagnostic assessments.
- Strong understanding of ADHD diagnostic criteria using recognised frameworks (DSM-5 and/or ICD-11).
- Experience undertaking structured clinical interviews and gathering collateral information from parents, carers, schools, and other professionals where appropriate.
- Ability to work autonomously with excellent clinical report writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, clinical governance, and confidentiality.
- Confident using electronic patient records and remote consultation platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ADHD diagnostic assessments for adult and/or CAMHS patients.
- Complete structured clinical interviews and review questionnaires, developmental history, and collateral information.
- Assess for differential diagnoses and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Produce accurate, evidence-based diagnostic reports and recommendations.
- Deliver assessment feedback to patients, parents, carers, and referring professionals where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Participate in MDT meetings, supervision, and clinical discussions where required.
- Work in accordance with safeguarding policies, clinical governance, and professional standards.
- Support the continued development of high quality ADHD assessment services.
