This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy administrative team at the Waltham Forest Memory Service for a fixed-term, twelve-month contract at pay Band 3.

The Role
In this key administrative role, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our Memory Service. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including team members, service users, and carers to ensure effective communication and efficient processes. Your efforts will make a direct impact on the quality and timeliness of the care we provide.
- Communicate effectively with a range of individuals, in person or by phone, ensuring professionalism, courtesy, and sensitivity to communication barriers.
- Respond to enquiries and take appropriate actions on behalf of the service, whether by phone, in person, or through correspondence, within agreed time frames.
- Managing the Memory Service’s Team Inbox; receiving and logging new referrals and enquiries into the service.
- Arrange and take minutes or notes at meetings that are intended for internal review only.
- Handling the booking of clinical appointments and clinics on RIO.

Starting with NELFT (delete for internal only)
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes, Essex.

This post will be subject to a probationary period.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,870 and a maximum payment of £6,137 per annum, pro rata for part-time)
High Cost Area Supplement - Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,346 and a maximum payment of £2,270 per annum, pro rata for part-time)
