Role Description
The Admin Accounts role is a part-time, on-site position based in Fareham. This role involves supporting day-to-day administration, including processing invoices, maintaining purchase and sales ledgers and assisting with payroll preparation. The Admin Accounts team member will update and manage financial records, prepare basic reports, and help respond to queries from suppliers, clients, and internal teams. The role also includes general office administration such as filing, data entry, ISO, O&M Manuals/H&S compliances and maintaining accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures. Collaboration with project managers and senior staff to ensure smooth operations across building projects is an important part of the position.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and experience with accounts & bookkeeping will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Outlook) for data entry and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy office environment.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining clear and compliant records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and suppliers in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving approach to day-to-day tasks.
- Previous experience in construction, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Relevant vocational qualification or certification in accounts, finance, or business administration is an advantage.
