Description: Part Time / 15 Hours Per Week / Permanent

We’re the heart of the council, providing vital support to the Revenues & Customer Support Service, so they can function effectively. This is a permanent role working 15 hours on Monday and Tuesday.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Admin and Business Support Officer you’ll ensure the service runs smoothly by opening and scanning customer post and electronically filing all correspondence in a timely manner. You will communicate effectively with customers as required both by email and on the telephone. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate electronic filing systems to ensure all records are up-to-date and remain confidential and work well as part of a small team.

What You’ll Need

  • Some experience of carrying out administration tasks
  • A good understanding of the importance of customer care and confidentiality
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to provide excellent customer service
  • Proficient IT skills to carry out general administrative tasks, maintain records and databases, and update spreadsheets
  • Speed, accuracy, and high attention to detail to deliver a high-quality frontline service
