Plymouth | Full Time | Monday to Friday (39.5hrs) | £26.5k - £28.5k pa, plus commission

We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic person to join the team at Francis Stuart.

Whether you've worked in property before or not, we're interested in finding someone with the right attitude. If you're proactive, enjoy keeping things organised, have great attention to detail and like helping people, we'd love to hear from you.

We're a well-established, independent property agency with offices in Plymouth and Tavistock, specialising in residential sales, lettings, HMO management and property management. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. If you haven't worked in property before, don't worry. We'll provide the training, support and funding for relevant qualifications to help you build a rewarding career in the industry.

About the Role

This is a varied office-based role supporting our Property Management team and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll play an important part in looking after our landlords, tenants and contractors while making sure our systems and compliance records are accurate and up to date.

No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to learn different aspects of the business as you develop in the role.

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparing notices, reports, letters and other documentation for clients.
  • Managing compliance records, certificates and maintenance schedules.
  • Supporting our Property Managers with day-to-day administration.
  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries.
  • Contacting tenants regarding outstanding rent via phone, email, SMS and letter.
  • Keeping our CRM and property management systems updated accurately.
  • Preparing tenancy packs for new move-ins and tenancy renewals.
  • Processing contractor invoices ready for payment.
  • Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors to ensure works and enquiries are dealt with efficiently.
  • General administrative duties to support the wider office team.

You'll ideally have:

  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks.
  • A professional, flexible approach.
  • A solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to deal with issues calmly.
  • Previous administration experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in property is an advantage, but by no means a requirement.
