About the role

We have exciting opportunities for a Admin Assistant to join our Distribution team in Whetstone, Leicester to carry out all general warehouse operation admin duties.

  • Immediate starts available.
  • Contract type: Permanent - Earlies (5am-1pm)
  • Hours – 40 hours (Breaks are paid)
  • Full training is provided

About you

We are seeking people who have a "can do" attitude; are a great team player; have good attention to detail; are able to use their own initiative; and be willing to get stuck in to help where needed.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, self-motivated and possess excellent attention to detail. They will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and be confident using a range of computer systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible and committed approach to their work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, supervisors and managers. They will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives. Previous experience working in an office environment would be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Running the daily picks
  • Running Multi-channel orders
  • Receipting on PO’s while adhering to CFSP requirements
  • To carry out duties in an accurate and productive manner
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
  • To keep work areas clean and tidy.
  • To maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards throughout the DC.
  • To achieve the targets/KPI and task standards set out by supervisors.
  • To be communicative between fellow co-workers, warehouse operatives & supervisors.
  • To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
  • To perform any reasonable request from supervisors

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

ESSENTIAL

  • Attention to detail.
  • Self motivated.
  • Good standard of computer literacy.
  • Must display a flexible and committed approach.
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
