School Administrator at the Federation of Briar Hill Infant and St Margaret’s C of E Junior Schools

This post will be at Briar Hill Infant School

Contract

Permanent contract, subject to the satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period, with start date as soon as possible after 1st October 2026. Term time only and 5 teacher training days.

Hours

8.00-3.30 each day, with an hour’s lunch = 6.5 hours a day = 26 hours per week, 4 days a week - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Salary

Band E, £25583-£25989 pro rata

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Admin Assistant to join our fantastic team.

This varied and rewarding role will involve working closely with the administrative teams at Briar Hill Infant School and St Margaret's CE Junior School, as well as supporting the School Business Manager and Headteacher to help ensure the smooth and effective running of our school. We are proud to offer a welcoming, supportive environment with high expectations and aspirations for both our children and staff.

The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities and a professional approach. Building positive relationships with children, staff, parents, governors and external partners is a key aspect of this role, making strong interpersonal skills essential.

Previous experience in a school setting would be advantageous, but is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
