About The Role

Due to recent growth, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Administrator to join our client’s team in the Richmond, North Yorkshire area. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who excels in prioritizing tasks, delivering exceptional customer service, and demonstrating a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and maintaining effective communication within the team. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Responsibilities

  • Process new work orders promptly, ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed and filed
  • Respond to client queries efficiently, providing clear and professional communication to foster positive relationships
  • Utilize Microsoft Office software, including managing emails, calendars, and preparing documents and reports
  • Maintain the office layout, monitor supplies of stationery and equipment, and communicate stock levels to the Team Leader or Business Support Manager
  • Assist in collating essential information and preparing reports for the Business Support Manager as required
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies at all times, promoting a safe working environment
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and letters for internal teams and Regional Operation Managers
  • Keep all records organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible for team reference and compliance purposes
  • Support the Support Team and Business Support Manager with daily administrative duties to ensure operational efficiency
  • Assist new starters during induction periods by providing guidance, support, and training to facilitate smooth onboarding
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support the team’s objectives and operational needs
