All about the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and highly professional Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated office team. As the first point of contact for many visitors, parents and pupils, you will play a vital role in creating the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is at the heart of our school.
The successful candidate will provide efficient administrative support to the Headteacher and wider school team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. Duties will include:
- Welcoming visitors, parents and pupils with professionalism and warmth
- Managing telephone and email enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate pupil and school records.
- Supporting attendance and admissions administration.
- Processing correspondence, orders and general office administration.
- Assisting with school communications, events and wider administrative tasks.
- Working closely with staff to support the effective operation of the school.

We are looking for someone who:
- Experience in an administrative role and/or school experience is essential
- Has excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Demonstrates outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is approachable, caring and committed to excellent customer service.
- Can work efficiently under pressure and prioritise competing demands.
- Has strong IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office (experience of school management systems would be an advantage).
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Is committed to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
