Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Adult Social Care Services and play a key role in improving lives. The various teams across the service are dedicated to adult’s social care to support the most vulnerable people in Leicester. As the service is large, the work is varied and we have many different locations across the city, you’ll have the opportunity and exposure to learn new skills and build on your experiences.

Working in a busy yet challenging environment, you’ll provide administrative support to the service which could include minute taking, maintaining records, reception duties and processing financial aspects of the role.

This is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday). You’ll have flexibility in hybrid working being both office based, at City Hall or Beymount Way or working remotely from home to suit the needs of the service. However, you'll be expected to attend the office a minimum of 2 days a week.

This is a career graded post (LG Band 03 – LG Band 04). Appointment to a level will depend on the outcome of the selection process and experience of the successful candidate. Dependent on availability of work/vacancy at a higher level, progress will be by satisfactory performance, agreed at annual Appraisals and through on-going supervision.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
