Elevated Minds CIC was formally established in April 2019 to challenge the disproportionate levels of Black Heritage children excluded from mainstream education by facilitating and delivering early intervention services and providing this work through educational provisions. We deliver socio-emotional skills development programmes; combined with mentoring and coaching to young people and their families.

Elevated Futures Education: We recognise that for many of our students, the journey through mainstream education has been challenging. Elevated Futures Education exists to be the “reset” button. We are a school where anxiety is understood, sensory needs are respected, and potential is unleashed. Our provision is built on the belief that we do not merely manage needs; we discover talent.

OUR FOCUS

Elevated Minds Mission Statement: We envision a world where young people and their families are equipped and empowered to know who they are, identify their purpose, and raise their aspirations.

Where other organisations might work with more mainstream pupils, we work with children both ends of the spectrum, those who are gifted and talented and those who are considered hard to reach, vulnerable, and over-represented in the justice system. We work in primarily Black communities, in deprived boroughs of South London, where youth violence and criminality is high. We do not shy away from working with complex communities that usually do not receive deep-rooted life-changing support. We aim to tackle the disproportionate levels of Black Heritage children suspended or permanently excluded from mainstream education, by facilitating and delivering early intervention services.

Elevated Futures - Our Philosophy Underpinned by the insights in Autism a Superpower – An Awakening and The Dynamic Development Plan, we have created an environment that moves away from the static “maintenance” of Special Educational Needs towards dynamic progression. We champion the Dynamic Development Plan (DDP) as the spine of our school. This strengths-based blueprint ensures that every teacher, therapist, and support worker is aligned with one goal: the child’s growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
