Daz In The Hat Radio CIC is looking for an Admin Manager's Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of the station.

The Admin Manager (Job Share) will support the smooth day-to-day running of Daz In The Hat Radio CIC by coordinating administration, supporting volunteers, and maintaining records. This role strengthens organisation, governance, and sustainability, allowing the station to focus on delivering quality programming and supporting unsigned artists.

What are we looking for?

The ideal volunteer will have at least 3 years experience, be organised, reliable, and detail-focused, with good written communication skills. They should be confident using email, messaging apps, and online meeting tools such as Zoom. The role requires discretion and an understanding of confidentiality and data protection. A proactive approach, good time management, and the ability to work independently while supporting a volunteer team are essential.

General / Operations Management

  • Ability to manage general station enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Confident monitoring the station’s email account and forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Strong organisational skills to track tasks, follow up actions and ensure nothing is overlooked.
  • Good time management skills, particularly important within a job-share structure.

Office and Administration Management

  • Experience preparing meeting agendas and accurately recording minutes.
  • Ability to distribute meeting notes and key updates clearly and promptly.
  • Confident managing internal communication platforms, including maintaining the station’s WhatsApp groups.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Volunteer Management

  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff and volunteers.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and company policies, ensuring sensitive information is handled appropriately.
  • Experience requesting, tracking and recording references where required.
  • Professional, discreet and trustworthy when dealing with personal information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day administration
  • Managing station emails
  • Internal communication, including:
    • Adding new volunteers to WhatsApp groups
    • Sending Zoom meeting invitations
  • Preparing and distributing agendas and minutes
  • Keeping accurate records of confidential information, including volunteer phone numbers and email addresses
