Admin Officer
Location: Swansea (Hybrid Working)
Pay Rate: £13.96 per hour
Contract: Until 31st March 2027
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week
Our client, a public sector organisation, is seeking an Admin Officer to join their Environmental Team, supporting conservation activity across South-West Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced administrator looking for their next challenge or a recent graduate seeking to gain experience within the environmental sector.
The Role
Working closely with Conservation Officers who are based out in the field, you will provide a high level of administrative support to help ensure environmental projects and initiatives run smoothly.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Completing and processing a variety of forms and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Entering and updating information on Excel spreadsheets
- Formatting reports and documents using Microsoft Word
- Responding to queries via email
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
- Assisting with the coordination of team activities and projects

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous administrative experience in a detail-orientated environment; or
- Be a recent graduate in a relevant subject such as Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Ecology, Biodiversity or a similar discipline
- Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Have excellent written communication skills
- A proactive mindset
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
