Great Whelnetham Primary School

Salary: £25,614 - £26,016 per annum pro rata
Hours: 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Contract: Permanent, required 5 January 2027

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the wonderful Great Whelnetham Primary School as an Administration Assistant. We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable person to become an important part of our school team.

We are part of the All Saints Schools Trust, which provides our staff with access to a wealth of support, professional development and networking opportunities with other local primary schools.

  • Have a commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children
  • Be friendly, approachable and able to provide a warm and professional welcome to pupils, parents, visitors and staff
  • Have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload effectively
  • Have good literacy, numeracy and IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office
  • Be able to work accurately and with good attention to detail
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality and can handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Be flexible, able to use your initiative and willing to support the varied day-to-day needs of a busy school office
  • Be a positive team player with a good sense of humour
