Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Fixed-Term Contract – 6 Months (Potential Extension)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm (25 hours per week)

We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to join our busy team within the retail installation industry on a fixed-term 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining installation schedules and work programmes
  • Updating and managing project and client information
  • Using Microsoft Excel to track projects, resources, and performance data
  • Liaising with installation teams, clients, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
  • Preparing reports, documents, and administrative paperwork
  • Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience in a busy office environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience creating and managing schedules or work plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
  • Professional and positive attitude

Desirable

  • Experience within the retail installation, construction, facilities management, or project coordination sectors
  • Knowledge of scheduling or workforce planning systems
