Paget Primary School

Paget Primary School is looking to appoint a warm, welcoming and customer-centred Administration Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school team. As a key member of our school office, you will be a friendly and professional first point of contact for our pupils, families, staff and visitors. You will help to ensure that everyone who comes into contact with the school receives a positive, welcoming and caring experience. This is a varied role that will suit someone who is highly organised, approachable and calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school environment.

About The Role

As an Administration Assistant, you will provide effective administrative support across the day-to-day running of the school. This will include:

  • Acting as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for pupils, families, staff and visitors.
  • Providing general administrative support to the school office and wider school team.
  • Managing purchase orders and supporting the school's purchasing processes.
  • Supporting the administration of medication in line with school procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is recorded and handled appropriately.
  • Responding to enquiries in a helpful, professional and timely manner.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
  • Managing competing priorities and responding calmly to changing demands.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school.
