GR4: Administrative Assistant
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent position within the Council's Social Care Charging Team which is part of the Financial Management and Accounting Division.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the council’s financial databases
- Processing payments & raising invoices
- Assisting in day-to-day workloads & office routines (including mail, scanning & electronic filing)
Training will be provided in terms of system processes & procedures and completion of financial tasks. The role will require a level of financial and ICT literacy.
Requirements
Candidates would be expected to have good communications skills both written and verbal and have a keen willingness to learn. Knowledge of services provided by the Council’s Community & Children’s Services Group is desirable although not essential.
