Smith's Wood Primary Academy,

We are seeking a well-organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join our Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ academy in Smith’s Wood, Birmingham. This is a key role within our office team, providing high-quality administrative support to staff, pupils, parents and visitors.

About the role:

  • You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the school office, including ordering resources, maintaining records, supporting compliance processes, and assisting with finance, first aid administration, and school systems.
  • You will also provide professional reception support and contribute positively to the school’s ethos.

About you:

  • We are looking for someone who is organised, flexible, confident with IT (particularly Microsoft Word and Excel), and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a school office is desirable, and a strong commitment to safeguarding is essential.
  • Training will be provided where required, including First Aid.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required.
