About The Team
The Team Around the School Support Hub sits within Surrey's Early Intervention, Prevention and Support Service. We work alongside schools, settings, families and partner agencies to strengthen inclusion, build capacity and provide support at the earliest opportunity.
Through Surrey's developing Experts at Hand approach, we are enhancing Surrey's offer by creating stronger local connections around schools and settings. This enables timely support, coordinated responses and earlier intervention when needs emerge. Our focus is on helping children and young people access the right support at the right time by bringing together expertise, information and services around local communities.
As Surrey prepares for Local Government Reorganisation, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of integrated, locality-based services that will support future ways of working across the county.
About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and evolving service that is strengthening how support is coordinated around schools, settings, children, young people and families across Surrey. Working alongside TASSH Cluster Coordinators and wider Early Intervention colleagues, you will play an important role in keeping systems, information, meetings and partnership activity organised, accurate and connected.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
