Job Opportunity: Administration Clerk in Health Visiting Service

An opportunity has arisen to join the Health Visiting service as an Administration Clerk to play a key role in supporting child health services across the community.

This post will support the Health Visiting service in both Winch Lane surgery and Llangwm surgery.

Responsibilities

The post-holder will work with the Health Visiting Team Leader and Health Visiting Team, offering administrative support. You will share responsibility for providing practical support in using the Cypris (Child Health System) to answer queries, arrange appointments for Health staff, and carry out general filing duties.

The post holder will also need to be trained in navigating the WCCIS system which is the Health Visiting database.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing correspondence
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Preparing agendas and minutes
  • Maintaining accurate records using the Cypris child health system
  • Handling telephone enquiries professionally
  • Assisting with health promotion activities and events
  • Coordinating training
  • Managing resources
