Join Cardiology at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital

Join Cardiology at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as our Administration Lead and play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of a busy, forward-thinking service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading and supporting others, and takes pride in delivering high-quality services that make a real difference to patients and colleagues.

As part of our supportive and collaborative administrative team, you will work closely with clinical and operational leaders, helping to coordinate key departmental activities, lead on administrative processes, support recruitment and workforce management, and drive service improvements. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance efficiency, patient experience, and service delivery.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, confident managing competing priorities, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities

The Administration Lead will be responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day running of the Cardiology administrative service, ensuring high standards of patient-focused administration and operational support are maintained across the department. Working closely with the Administration Manager, the post holder will oversee administrative processes, support workforce management and recruitment activities, coordinate departmental meetings, and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
