Salary: $102,657 - $116,592 (Plus 12.5% Super)

Location: Canberra Health Services, Garran, ACT

Section: Community Health and Integrated Care

About the Role:

Community Health and Integrated Care delivers a range of multidisciplinary, community-based services focused on prevention, early intervention, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions. These services include Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Walk-in Centres, Breast Screen ACT, the Integrated Care Program, Renal Services, Bariatric Services, Women, Youth and Children, Community Paediatrics, the Spinal Pain Service, and components of the Chronic Pain Service, as well as services within the Rehabilitation and Aged Care Division.

Services are delivered through a collaborative, patient-centered model of care that supports improved health outcomes for the ACT community and surrounding region.

Community Health and Integrated Care is committed to continuous service improvement to ensure contemporary models of care, sustainable workforce practices, and safe, high-quality service delivery. The programs aim to foster a positive workplace culture and strong collaboration across clinical and operational teams to support the delivery of accessible and integrated community-based healthcare.

The position provides leadership and management to WYC Community Health Administration teams, overseeing day-to-day administrative operations including clinic workflows, appointment bookings, referral management, telephone screening, staffing, resource management, and staff training. The role works closely with the WYC leadership team and internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery, strong customer service, and effective administrative processes.

The position requires excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, along with demonstrated experience using health-based IT systems, including EPIC. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to contribute to quality improvement, project management, and service development are highly desirable. The role also supports compliance with relevant policies and legislation and promotes a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on delivering excellent health care to women, young people, children, and families.
