Introduction

We are looking for a lively and proactive individual to complement our current Administrative Team to provide a professional administrative support for the Stock Investment and Asset Management Team (SIAM) which is responsible for delivering an annual property improvement budget of circa £80m.

You will provide a friendly and customer-focused first point of contact for residents and colleagues and the ability to build positive relationships with and work collaboratively with team members and wider colleagues in providing great services to customers and meeting identified goals and objectives.

What’s the role?

Key aspects of the role includes:

  • Responding to phone and email enquiries from residents and other stakeholders on historic, current and future work programmes
  • Providing administrative support (including minute taking) for a range of exciting projects
  • Co-ordinating and allocating complaints to team members for investigation and response
  • Arranging and co-ordinating meetings with residents / stakeholders across the borough
  • Organising mailouts to residents on a wide range of issues

What we’re looking for

Someone with a keen eye for detail and who can deal with challenging phone calls with the ability to diffuse potential tensions. You will be familiar with our IT or similar systems and be enthusiastic about learning Lewisham's systems. You will have pride in your work, be keen to understand the nature of work we do and be result. You will also be able to proactively develop relationships across the organisation and be able to liaise and support colleagues as needed within a fast-paced team. In summary, you will have a strong customer service ethos with great people skills and experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of people.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

£34,863 to £35,892 per annum (Scale 5)
