Administration Officer (x2)
Location: Wotton:under:Edge Town Council, The Civic Centre, 2 Gloucester Street, Wotton:under:Edge, GL12 7DN
Salary: A GBP 27,274 : A GBP 29,542 per annum pro rata (SCP 7:12)
Contract: Permanent, Part:Time. 20 hours per week with some weekends and evening for meeting and other events
Helping keep Wotton:under:Edge connected, organised and welcoming.
Wotton:under:Edge Town Council is strengthening how it works as the organisation grows and prepares for future responsibilities. We are looking for two Administration Officers who enjoy variety, take pride in supporting people and want to be part of a team that makes a visible difference to daily life in the town.
About The Role
These are busy, people:focused roles at the heart of the Councils operations. You will help keep governance running smoothly, support councillors and colleagues, and play a key part in the One Stop Shop : the front door to many of the Councils services. You'll help residents access information, support consultations and events, maintain accurate records and contribute to digital updates and communications.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Confidence working in a busy administrative or customer:facing environment
- Strong organisation and the ability to keep things moving during busy periods
- Clear, friendly communication and a calm, professional approach
- Good digital skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and online tools
- A positive, helpful attitude and the ability to work well with a wide range of people
- Reliability, attention to detail and pride in delivering high:quality work
- A commitment to public service and supporting the Councils work for the community
