Looking for your next opportunity? Want to start a career in the NHS?
East Kent Hospitals is holding an Administration Recruitment Evening on Wednesday 21st October from 5pm, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, organised and people-focused individuals to join our teams.
We have a range of Band 2 and Band 3 administration roles available across the Trust, including:
- Outpatient Receptionists and Administrators
- Medical Secretaries / Patient Pathway Coordinators
- Emergency Department Receptionists
- Ward Clerks
- Other administration opportunities across our services
These roles are based across our hospitals (Kent & Canterbury, William Harvey & Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother), supporting patients, clinical teams and the smooth running of our Trust.
Please note that we are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship for any of these roles.
Applications for this role should be written by the applicant. If artificial intelligence (AI) programmes are used then the application may be rejected due to this document being an important part of the assessment process. This does not prevent applicants seeking appropriate support with applications should they need to for the purposes of any declared disability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is a great opportunity to meet the people you could be working with, find out more about the roles and, where suitable, be interviewed for available positions on the evening.
You don’t need previous NHS experience. We’re looking for people who are reliable, organised, approachable, able to communicate well and willing to learn. Previous administration or customer service experience is useful, but the most important thing is having the right skills and attitude.
