Location: Exeter, EX2

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: A GBP 27,000 per annum

Are you an organized administrator who enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same?

We are recruiting for an Administration Support on a maternity cover basis, providing essential administration across a busy Midlands operation. This is a varied role covering general administration, personnel, training, compliance and fleet management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and keeping things organized.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning and coordination of weekly operational schedules and bookings
  • Maintaining internal systems and ensuring job information, records and documentation are kept accurate and up to date
  • Providing general administrative and finance support where required
  • Maintaining training and personnel records, including arranging training courses and monitoring certification and expiry dates
  • Managing employee information, including holidays, sickness records and training requirements
  • Administering online training and compliance platforms, including adding users, maintaining records and uploading relevant certifications
  • Supporting the administration of equipment and site compliance documentation, ensuring records remain current
  • Assisting with fleet administration, including vehicle allocation, insurance, MOTs, taxation, maintenance and driver records
  • Managing relevant vehicle accounts and ensuring vehicles and drivers are correctly registered
  • Carrying out regular license and compliance checks and keeping associated records up to date

About You

  • Experienced in administration, ideally within a busy operational, construction, engineering, logistics or similar environment
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
  • Confident maintaining spreadsheets, databases and online systems
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable liaising with both office and site based colleagues
  • Confident handling employee and business information
  • Enjoys keeping records accurate and spotting what needs doing
