Volunteer Admin Support Officer
Could you support our small charity with admin support, specifically everything related to Trustee meetings? We need someone who can organise meetings, collate papers, take minutes and circulate them. Is this you?
What difference will you make?
We really need someone with the skills, abilities and time to take accurate minutes which will help our Trustees (who are also volunteers) to focus on leading the charity.
As a charity, we report to the Charity Commission and we must keep a record of all discussions and actions made, so your role in helping with this is really important for the charity.
Without admin support and all the jobs our volunteers do in the background, we can't operate as an organisation, so you'll be making a huge difference even if it's not seen as clearly as other roles.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
