About The Role
Are you an organised, people-focused professional who enjoys bringing structure to a busy environment? Join the LFC Foundation as our Administration & Talent Manager and become the dependable centre of our people and office operations. You will keep essential processes running smoothly, deliver a welcoming experience for colleagues and candidates, and help us build the workforce needed to extend our impact across our communities.
This is a varied, hands-on role with real scope to improve how we work. Your first priority will be high-quality people and office administration, followed by talent and recruitment, and then workforce planning. By combining responsive day-to-day support with thoughtful process improvement, you will help the Foundation operate efficiently, recruit inclusively, and grow sustainably.
What will you be doing?
People & Office Administration
- Act as the first point of contact for people and office enquiries.
- Co-ordinate charity requests and ensure timely responses.
- Oversee day-to-day office needs, supplies, kit, uniforms, and room support.
- Administer the apprenticeship scheme and related compliance requirements.
- Manage casual workforce recruitment, onboarding, and exits.
- Support governance, board reports, and audits.
- Support overtime, working time, and contract compliance.
Talent & Recruitment
- Maintain job descriptions, organisation charts, and resource records.
- Manage vacancies from approval to onboarding.
- Build inclusive talent pipelines with colleges and community partners.
- Improve recruitment materials and candidate communications.
- Support recruitment approvals for casual, fixed-term, and permanent roles.
- Post vacancies and support fair shortlisting.
- Co-ordinate interviews and support hiring managers.
- Retain and file recruitment documents in line with legal requirements.
- Improve recruitment reporting, including time to fill, platform engagement, and candidate quality.
- Ensure compliance across visas, DBS checks, records, and audits.
Workforce Planning
- Monitor workforce compliance and required actions.
- Use succession data to support internal recruitment.
- Support effective recruitment and deployment of fixed-term roles.
- Create consistent processes for casual workers and volunteers.
- Learn from charity sector practice to shape effective workforce models.
- Develop talent pipelines and career pathways across the workforce.
- Work with Finance on labour costs and recruitment plans.

Other
- Attend Foundation events and programmes when required.
- Support People projects and organisational change.
- Provide ad hoc support to People and Leadership colleagues.
- Provide essential cover when the Head of People or People Administrator is absent.
- Support surveys, roadshows, benefits, pay review, and goal setting.

What will help you thrive in this role?
- Strong administration experience in a fast-moving environment, with a track record of keeping accurate records, co-ordinating competing priorities, and delivering responsive support.
- Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment, candidate communications, and onboarding.
- Experience of workforce planning, or of working in a role with broad workforce planning responsibilities.
- Experience of preparing data and turning it into clear plans, reports, and communications.
- Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively, and work at pace.
- A clear understanding of how to build candidate and apprenticeship pipelines that support growth and future skills needs.
- A relevant Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
- A passion for helping people reach their potential and develop their careers.
- An interest in the charity sector and volunteering environment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate people plans clearly and confidently.
- Ability to work at pace, show resilience, and handle challenging conversations professionally
You do not need to have followed one particular career path to succeed here. If you bring strong administration skills, sound judgment, and relevant experience across several of these areas, we encourage you to apply.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be Anfield Sports & Community Centre, with time also spent at our Head Office in Chapel Street.
