Financial Planning Administration Team Manager
Location: Bristol, Birmingham or Dorset, with travel between offices
Salary: Up to £55,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Planning Administration Team Manager to join a growing Wealth Management business, overseeing a team of Administrators across Bristol, Birmingham and Dorset.
You can be based on a hybrid-working policy from any of the three offices, with an expectation to travel between locations approximately once every two weeks, depending on your base with travel expenses covered. Dorset would typically require a visit once or twice a month.
We are looking for someone based in a location that is suitable for travel to all three sites.
You will initially manage a team of around 11 Administrators, with the potential for this to grow to around 16. Working closely with Managing Directors, Advisers and wider teams, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent client service, operational efficiency and consistent processes across the practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
