At Severn Trent, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re in the top 5% of utility companies worldwide when it comes to employee engagement and ranked as a Top 50 UK Employer on Glassdoor. Join us in making a positive impact on the environment and our communities, while being valued and supported in a truly inclusive workplace.

If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Pollution Response Team (PRT) is a newly established function within Network Control, acting as Severn Trent’s environmental emergency response service. The team provides a fast, reliable 24/7 response to water and waste incidents, using specialist equipment and highly trained technicians to minimise environmental impact and support field operations.

As Administration & Technical Support, you’ll play a key role in keeping the team running smoothly day to day. You’ll support the coordination of vehicles, equipment, and resources, working closely with technicians, managers, workshops, and internal teams to ensure the service remains operational and effective.

This role is Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 (excluding bank holidays), primarily based in Coleshill, with occasional travel to other Severn Trent sites as needed (flexibility can be discussed)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
