About Devon Farm Kitchen
Devon Farm Kitchen is an innovative social enterprise from Rowcroft Hospice, delivering 'Deliciously Satisfying' frozen ready meals direct to homes across South Devon.
We care passionately about the health and wellbeing of people in our community. By preparing and delivering excellent quality food, we help people enjoy nutritious, convenient meals while generating vital long-term income to support Rowcroft Hospice and the specialist care we provide to local patients and their families.
The Role
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support the continued growth of Devon Farm Kitchen through a variety of administration and customer support activities.
As part of our small and welcoming team, you could be helping with:
- Supporting general office administration
- Preparing mailings and customer communications
- Writing thank you postcards to customers and supporters
- Assisting with data entry and record keeping
- Helping with stock-taking activities
- Preparing product information and promotional materials
- Supporting food packaging, labelling and date stamping activities
- Staffing information stands and speaking with potential customers at events and community venues
